In such situations a starter device, commonly called a jump starter, becomes indispensable. It allows you to: Start the car yourself with a 12-volt battery, without having to call costly roadside assistance. It’s real peace of mind that gives you independence. Take care of safety – you don’t have to mess around with strangers’ cables and random cars in the parking lot. The whole process is safe and under your control. (step by step) There is no room for guessing here – the scheme below applies to all Högert Technik starter devices Högert Technik 400A), ensuring a safe and effective emergency start. Step 1 – preparing for an emergency start Make sure the booster is charged to at least 50%. The LED or LCD indicator will show the battery level. Check the car’s manual to see if the manufacturer allows external starting. This is crucial for the safety of your vehicle. Turn off the ignition and all consumers (lights, radio, fan). Step 2 – correct connection of the jump starter clamps Insert the blue plug of the starting cable fully into the start port on the starter device – if it is not fully seated, it may melt.
