Brushless chainsaw kit with 2x4Ah batteries and DUO charger

Product description

The Högert Technik HT2E290-0CS218V cordless chainsaw was designed for efficient cutting of wood in home and garden settings, wherever mobility and independence from mains power are important. The tool operates using two 18 V batteries from the OneAccuSystem platform, which provides stable power and longer run time under load. The fitted 14-inch guide bar (approx. 35 cm) enables efficient cutting of firewood, trimming branches and performing tidying tasks around the property. The chainsaw uses a 3/8" (9.5 mm) pitch chain, providing a good balance between cutting speed and tool control. The HT2E290-0CS218V model offers three chain speed modes: 15 m/s, 25 m/s and an AUTO mode that automatically adjusts speed to the current load. This solution allows precise matching of operating parameters to the type of wood and cutting conditions. The chainsaw is equipped with an automatic chain lubrication system with a separate 180 ml oil reservoir, which reduces wear on cutting elements and improves operating characteristics. Integrated safety systems – chain brake, run-out brake and trigger lock – increase user safety during operation. Chain brake and run-out brake – what are they and how do they differ? Chain brake A mechanical safety device designed to immediately stop the cutting chain in dangerous situations. It is activated: manually – by pushing the hand guard (most commonly during kickback), automatically – in the event of a severe chainsaw kickback. The chain brake operates independently of the motor and is intended to protect the user from injury in case of a sudden, uncontrolled tool reaction. Run-out brake The run-out brake is responsible for quickly stopping the chain after the trigger is released. When the trigger is released, the motor is disconnected from the power supply and the braking system reduces the time during which the chain continues to rotate due to inertia. Its purposes are: to reduce the risk of accidental contact with the moving chain, to improve control of the tool after finishing a cut, and to increase comfort and safety during work. Key difference The chain brake operates in emergency situations and reacts to hazards (e.g., kickback). The run-out brake operates during everyday normal work, shortening the chain stopping time after the tool is switched off. Both systems complement each other, providing a high level of safety both in emergency situations and during standard chainsaw operation.
